Here are some of the jobs our team has done recently around the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges, with photos from the day. Every job is done by David and his crew, fully insured, and cleaned up before we leave. Tap through to each suburb page to see the full set of photos.
These photos are from a recent Kinglake job where we removed a dead peppermint hanging over a shed and a large messmate. Our climber took both trees down in sections so nothing hit the shed or the house, then we ground out the stumps, chipped the branches, cut and split the timber and cleaned up the site.

This large golden elm in Healesville had a split in its trunk. Rather than remove the tree, we reduced the weight in the canopy to take the load off the split, then fitted a bolt through the trunk and installed a cable between the main leaders to support it. The tree keeps its shape and shade, with much less strain on the weak point.

On this Healesville job we removed two large trees from a backyard, then ground out the stumps so the area could be used again. The trees were taken down in sections, the branches cleared away, and the stump areas were left level and mulched with the yard cleaned up.

On this Healesville job we removed a palm and a large bay tree growing right beside the footpath. We set up traffic control so the street stayed safe, took the trees down in sections, chipped the branches on site and cleaned up the footpath and road before we left.

This Norfolk Island pine on a Healesville property had grown multiple leaders at the top. Competing leaders like these can split apart in strong wind, so our climber went up and removed the extra leaders, leaving one strong central leader for the tree to grow on.

This tall palm was growing in a narrow side yard between two houses, with a pergola and garden beds underneath, so there was no room to drop it. Our climber dismantled it piece by piece from the top, lowering each section so nothing hit the house, decking or plants. We then cut the stump low and cleaned up the yard.

Here are some photos from a recent job in Lilydale where our crew removed a large, overgrown conifer and hedge line from the front of a home. We set up the chipper on the street, worked the tree down safely around the house, fence and driveway, and mulched the green waste on site so nothing was left behind.

These photos are from a recent Mount Evelyn job where we removed a group of dead and dangerous trees from a residential backyard. Dead gums like these can drop limbs without warning, so the owners wanted them down safely before the next round of wild weather. Our team felled the trees in sections, cut up the timber and cleaned up the site, leaving the yard open and safe.

Dan Walsh contacted us about two large trees on his Marysville property. Each one had five vertical trunks and stood well over 20 metres tall. Dan emailed through a couple of photos, and we were able to give him a quote straight away without needing a site visit. A team of three completed the removal, delivered the mulch to one neighbour and cut the limbs into firewood for another. The whole site was cleaned and vacuumed before we left.

We cover Healesville, Lilydale, Mount Evelyn, Marysville and suburbs right across the Yarra Ranges. Send David a few photos and he can often quote straight away.
